Cheba Hut Toasted Subs - Maltkiln Lane

Absolutely delicious as I remember. Use to go to the Tempe store early in the 00s. Usually get the Pakalolo, sub Swiss for Provolone and pickle on the side. Still able to and no problems at all. Last visit was 2016 in S.D.. Many thanks Cheba Hut for swinging by WA!!!

I loved Cheba Hut in Arizona and I am stoked they are in the PNW! Tastes just like I remember it. Super flavorful hot sandwiches and definitely a favorite.

I visited on 8/31/2024 and it was my first time there. I did look at their website ahead of time to see what they had to offer in terms of food and drink and was not disappointed. The young woman at the counter who greeted me (Did not get her name) and took my order was very helpful. I ordered a sweet tea and asked if there were any lemon slices to add to the drink. She was nice enough to grab a fresh lemon, cut it up and give me a slice. Who does that nowadays? I thought that was so cool of her to do. I ordered the pretzel nuggets which were AMAZING!!! I also ordered the Thai Stick Teriyaki chicken sandwich which was really good as well. I like the vibes of the place as well. This place has a bar inside and while I did not have an alcoholic drink this time, I will be adventurous on my next trip there. Will definitely visit again when I next visit Seattle.
