Good food, try the happy hour specials. Especially on Wednsday, with half price wine bottles.
I needed a speedy meal before catching an evening movie at a nearby cineplex. Craving a fish taco, I googled this place in the Internet, saw it was near my hotel and took a chance. I was rewarded with a great fast food experience. My grilled fish taco was cooked to order before my eyes in minutes and came with rice, beans, cabbage, cilantro, Pico de Gallo and a great lime crema. It was an incredible bargain for $7.50 and hit all the right notes. Everything was super fresh, tasted homemade and was delicious. As I spread out in the cheerful turquoise booth and nursed my soda, I felt I had found a great place for a solo meal, quick lunch or speedy supper before a show. This is a great alternative to chain fast food restaurants.
When I visited Seattle, this was one of the restaurants I ate at. I had the grilled salmon tacos with rice and a Jarrito. The food was decent and so was the layout of the place. Nothing special if you ask me. I'm from Houston and we have Taco Cabana down there and I would put Blue Water Taco grill in the same category with Taco Cabana (middle of the road mexican restaurant). Not bad, just average!
First time eating here...I had the lunch special, which was pasta with sausage, a side salad, roll, and drink for a little over $8 with the tax. The pasta was really, really good. Each bite, I could taste the rosemary in the sauce. The peppers and onions in it weren't overwhelming and added a delicate taste to the entree. The salad was fresh...no browning of the lettuce or watery tomatoes. They also were mindful of my dairy allergy, so they used olive oil instead of butter in the saute of sausage, peppers and onions for the entree.
