I have never been disappointed with a bowl of Seafood Bisque from Pike Place Chowder. If I am spending a day in the area it is my first choice for a meal. Pike Place is always a good vibe and on a nice day the park is a great place to sit and eat.
I started with the classic clam chowder; absolutely delicious and chunks of clams. I hate when a chowder is mainly potatoes. The second chowder was the lobster bisque. Phenomenal! I see why people were walking away with 4 different bowls. And I am dying to try their lobster rolls.
Quick service, great fresh cup of chowder. Only regret is that I didn't get to try them all!
The line can be long but behind the line, a to go window is located indicating you can order ahead and pick up your order. They also do service through grub hub. Ultimately, we stood in line during not so peak hours on a Saturday and the line moved swiftly. Service was efficient and the staff that took care of us were friendly and efficient too. Overall, seafood bisque was delicious: comes with a piece of sourdough bread and oyster crackers. My travel partner ordered the “soup of the day” — while I don’t remember the name it was a seafood assortment, including shellfish. Both dishes, seasoned very well, and they are rich, creamy soups.
