Contribuisci feedbackRead the fine print! Every bill has 18 gratuity added on BEFORE it is presented as a bill, with an expectation of an additional tip on top of this. The only reason we noticed this is that we received subpar service and did not want to add the “automatic” 18+ tip. The ambience was hotel restaurant, but with 90s electronic dance music pumped in way too loud. The food was fine, but our server was distracted, and seemed uninterested in ensuring our meal was enjoyable. I had to ask for my meal to be complete, as items were not served. My wife had to ask twice for vinegar for her fish and chips. We were surprised that the 18 was automatically added to our bill. When we questioned it, the server simply called the manager, who said this was standard practice, regardless of the service. The manager was annoyed that we complained, as if we had no right to question why the restaurant assumed an 18 gratuity for subpar service. Sorry, but we will not be returning to Tidal, nor any Hyatt restaurant.
Service was not as top notch as experienced there before. Waitperson seemed unsure of orders. And I got a “no” answer in response to a couple of asks I had more than I would have expected. Not into customer service I guess. Tidal+ needs to step it up a bit!
Very good food, but the service was very slow and uncoordinated. Took at least 20 minutes to be served a fish chowder, which surely must have been pre-made and just sitting in a warming pot. Meanwhile nobody asked whether I would like to have some bread etc to tide me over.
A true gem in Seattle! Quickly becoming a regular. Tina is a superstar!
We loved the food! It was so fresh and tasty. We came for the Mother's Day brunch and all the Moms left happy and full!! Also our Table waiter her name was April, someone please give her a raise! She was outstanding and always made sure our drinks were full! Super friendly and such a good vibe all around! Definitely will be back for the full menu!!!
