Very bad because it took a long time to get the food ordered, the staff is inadequate and unprofessional. Also many dishes that appear in the menu could not be served because they do not have them. Although I'm more animal-loving, I can't help but find that the place was full of cats. I counted a dozen to walk agile under the tables, even aggressive.
Ordered meal delayed 1 hour and half, food was cold and waitresses ignored us. We claimed it to the owner and he was extremely rude.
We went for a good meal, but experienced bad food. They didn't have everything on the menu, but we understood that as it was out of season. The problem is that what they did have, was poorly cooked and even gave one of us stomach cramps it was the shrimps in calypso sauce. The other dish (fish on the grill) was a bit undercooked and the fish soup was old and too little reheated (the fish inside was cold). The service was confusing as we gave our order to one waiter, than another came and told us that what we ordered was not on the new menu, which was not even given to us. I strongly do NOT recommend this place!
We went to 'La Peste ' for fish dishes and sea specialities. We were unpleasently surprised that most of the fish dishes in the menu were not available in full season). After we finally managed to find something to order we waited...and waited...and waited. After ~40 minutes one of the waiters told as they were having a control from food security agency. After more than 1,5 hours we received half of the order. The other half was confiscated for many reasons: improper storage, expired products etc). If the agency wouldn 't have made the control we would have been served with expired, improper food ... The waiting time for getting a table was also huge ~1 hour).
We returned more than once in this restaurant in Mamaia North because of the fresh fish they serve. I recommend asking the waitress what they have and to order something local (in most restaurants is the fish from the supermarket, not from local fishermen). Unfortunately there were some aggressive cats around the tables and we had cautiously not climbing on the table with them. The stuff did not take care of them and said that people constantly feed them and so they come back every day.
