Week ends gets crowded either you go early or just avoid going on weekends. menu can be improved for the price

We had our dinner at this hotel during our stay at mahabalipuram. very efficient service. Also the food quality is ok

Did not stay on the property but visited the lunch buffet and was impressed by the helpful and courteous service. The food and spread was decent; nothing to write home about..

Dropped in at around teatime for a drink and a snack...We were warmly welcomed and provided a table overlooking the pool... nice!It was a bit warm - oudoors was steaming at 40 deg centigrade - we asked for the airconditioners to be turned on higher and were told it would be done.we proceeded ordering food.The Kathi Rolls are excellent - almost a mini meal by themselves... a plate had 3 peices... good!The samosas are small, 6 pcs on a plate, tastyThe Paneer Pakoda - stay away from these - very little paneer, more of vegetables and soaked in Oil!!By the way - they kept reassuring us the sirconditioning would be put on - never hapenned - until one of the cleaners wiping the tables close by informed us that the airconditioning was out of order for the past few days and not working!!What a bunch of liars - we protested and only then they opened the door to let some air in - but we had already finished our food.When we protested again - they agreed to give a 10% discount on the food!My question to them was - why had they not informed us that the aircon was not working when we walked in?? we would have happily sat by the poolside with the cool sea breeze - better than a stuffy room!!!

Very good experience overall. The collection of wines and food was good. Usually in a buffet, the spread is not that great, but here the spread was also good and sumptuous.
