Forst you get the very rich bean soup, followed by the “sacramentos” that have been cooked altogether. These are 7 kinds of pork meat and sausage (of course including the famous Burgos blood sausage). Super delicious, but not for the faint-hearted! If you do it for lunch (and add some beer or wine), you are done for the day.
We discovered this tiny, family run tavern by chance. It was a hot Saturday afternoon, with lots of local clients drinking in the shady patio. Inside the owner looked after us beautifully. My husband ordered the tripe, and says it was the best he has eaten in Spain. The sausages in cider were delicious as was the minced meat, which was well seasoned. Simple, traditional food, served with a smile and extremely cheap. Highly recommended.
Had lunch her. Menu del dia that was mediocre. Not worth a detour, but if You a are hungry and nearby like me....
Comimos allí un sábado y la verdad es que muy bien tanto la atención del personal como la comida. Repetiremos.
La comida muy sabrosa, con ingredientes frescos y sorprendentes. Un lugar para repetir.
