Unimpressive. Menu was boring. Food was lackluster. The waiter was excellent. Will not return

Open Table needs to be fixed. This review is not about the restaurant we assume it has good food and atmosphere. It is closed on Mon and Tues and clearly states on the restaurant web page and on their front door. We made reservations assuming Open Table would get the basics correct and showed at the front door only to be disappointed

We made the reservation. We went there. It was not open. We were so disappointed. So we went to another restaurant and had a wonderful meal

We had very mixed feelings about our dining expeience at Kitchen Cocktails. The ambiance was great and the cocktail menu was wonderful. The menu was varied and we were mostly pleased with our meals. The staff is very disorganized. Upon entering the restaurant we were told that there would be a minute wait, before we were even asked if we had a reservation. I told the hostess that we made a reservation on Open Table and we were quickly seated. The restaurant was not full, but there were quite a few large parties in the dining room, so perhaps the "wait" for walkins was to pace the kitchen. I ordered a cauliflower burger and it did not come out as advertised on the menu. It was supposed to be served with a lemon tarragon aioli, but that was missing. When I asked for it, I received something different that tasted like it had relish in it. The red onion jam on the burger was tasty. The warm salted pretzel bread was an excellent appetizer for the kids. The adults in our group enjoyed the cocktails! On Friday night, kids eat free, but there seemed to be a lot of confusion about that. The webpage advertises: "Kids Eat FREE Under Fridays, complimentary kids menu item per child with each adult entrée ordered." The hostess clarified that kids eat free with one adult entree from the Specialties portion of the menu. I ordered from the Burgers Sandwiches portion of the menu since that was the only option for a vegetarian. Our server didn't know about Kids Eat Free and charged us full price. He seemed very flustered with the mistake. Overall, this place is probably better for cocktails and adult dining. If you plan to eat here, don't bring the kids
