So we order our food and it is not brought to the table by a busboy. the poor guy was confused who gets what plate and tries to juggle what goes where he is a plate of chicken piccata and most of the sauce spills over my new arc’teryx beta ar blue jacket. I scream instinctive and jump up. all at the table saw what happened. by the way, it was not a small spot. the oil was over a shoulder and ran halfway back! Unfortunately, the damage is done and I can't do anything about it. I'm telling the busboy there's no worry. our waiter finally comes back to the table and someone else at the table tells him what happened. he says he's sorry and he'll be back with a towel right away. guess who never comes back. Now the manager comes by and while we are trying to enjoy our meal, their answer to what has occurred to begin to read google cleaning tips from their phone on the table. down with you! her restaurant falls the ball terrible and now while we try to eat the last thing I need is her help as I clean my jacket should ruin her personal. if she had said that we were sorry and my meal on the house or even a desert for the table is everything to show something repentance. everyone on our table was really surprised how bad it was handled. now, after being professionally cleaned, the stains are still there, so I call Mammoth Mountains who own the restaurant to let at least someone know that there might be a better way of handling. a week after they promised a call back. Nothing. So I'll call again today and I'll get an email in the grunde you tell us what happened. you need something good to handle it. they feel inappropriate as the customer. obviously nobody cares. overpriced moderate eating. of course, I didn't enjoy my eating. if they didn't blow me off, I wouldn't bother writing this review.
We had to wait to get a table. once in was eating great, we ordered pastas and pizzas, we really liked them. the service is somewhat slow, I think it is due to the number of customers vs number of waiters, but the staff was very friendly with us. the price is a bit high, but I think it's the same in all mammoth. we would come back in definitiw.
HERE.5 of us showed up at 7:30 a.m. after a day on the mountain and was told that they no longer sit. that wasn't the problem. we were ready to make the cash until they allowed a party of 2 a table, so we called it up. then they said they would put us in 5-10 minutes. we waited over an hour until we sat during this time there was drama between the hostes and the person who told us it would be just 5 minutes to end storm out of the restaurant. After an hour we sit down and order food and drink, our waiter was actually a pretty guy, but every other person who delivered the food looked miserable and threw the food on the table so careless. we were as distorted as terrible as eating, drinks and service. would not recommend at all.
This place is exactly what they need after a long day in the mountains. cozy atmosphere, chilling music and eating is just perfect! risotto was unexpectedly boiled al dente. love it! every fritto misto is definitiw one of the best in my life!
The atmosphere was nice and service was good. Prices are high for what you get. Food was mediocre. The location in the village is great but we won’t be back.
