We ate here three times from 12/31 to 1/2. Two breakfasts and a dinner. Breakfast was a pretty bad buffet at $20 per person. Wet eggs, with finished sausage and bacon, decent potatoes and decent French toast, cuddly pancakes. They also offered oat flour, cubed fruits and yogurt. You did not offer the regular menu. They said they could make **** Marys, but when we arrived, they only said mimoses. Coffee and water were provided. The staff was very nice, so kudos there (I asked for a diet cook and he brought one). We had the Burger for dinner. The role was a little stable, but otherwise it was pretty good. I ordered the French onion soup they didn't have, but instead they gave me Broccoli cheddar soup. It was extremely thin, mostly broth. Again, our server was very nice. It would be interesting to see how this restaurant is usually when they do not work under the holiday conditions. Other reviews seem to see how they usually better, but the above was our experience.
The food was delicious! Unfortunately, they were under the staff because of the storm, so they took a little longer to come to services. The staff was great, even the chefs came out to help the server. Great place to eat!
Review of breakfast: We ate here 4 days of breakfast and tried several options. Huevos rancheros excellent and very fillable. My wife and I have it almost every day, and we have light snacks for lunch. Ask for Salsa on the page if you don't like spicy. Oso Omelette good choice and beautiful filling French toast tasted great, but it is a light meal, only 2 pieces pancakes filling, but not very good. A bit dry and hard, although one of our teenagers liked her and she got her every day. Mountainside Breakfast filling but simply ok. Sauces are big, but not delicious. You get a huge proportion of potatoes. Page of 2 eggs is for $7 and our children often have it. They open at 7 a.m., but the food comes only at 7:30 a.m. Sleep a bit and go around 7:20. You'll still be one of the first to get your food. The restaurant is independent of the resort, so no iconic pass discount.
We were making a trip down to Anaheim from Idaho and needed to stop somewhere for the night. We happened to choose mammoth mountain inn and while the accommodations were meh, the same should not be said about the bar and grill! The bartender (Heather) was phenomenal! The hospitality and charm she provides could only be described as southern hospitality at its finest. Marvin, if you read this do yourself a favor and do not let this one go. She's a crucial part to the pleasure we had while dining in. The food was astounding and definitely worth the price when considering portions. If you've got kids, they've got a kid friendly menu, it just isn't advertised. This meal was worth every penny and I'd gladly go again!
