Nevados - MAMMOTH LAKES

The staff here is incredibly friendly! Our hostess, Kelly, even came out to take a photo of us before dinner. Our waiter, Stanley, was fantastic! He had perfect timing with the food and made us feel so welcome and personally attended to. The food is absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes are exceptional for the prices! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

Absolutely delicious! We started with the Poke Tower as our first course, followed by the salmon and scallops for the main course. I also got a glimpse of my husband's tasty Cioppino. Chef Steve Mejia truly makes everything so exquisite. It's a must-visit every time we're in Mammoth!

I’ve been coming here forever. This place has more repeat customers than any other restaurant in Mammoth. What else needs to be said. Also, Janice and Rachael are best bartenders in Mammoth.

I love this place and the food and service is excellent. The staff always goes above and beyond with great recommendations. Please don’t listen to reviewers like Scott R and Jason Neugebauer as they think Del Taco is great Mexican Food and they also think PetSmart smells like pets. If you eat at Nevados and you aren’t happy with your meal, the management will do whatever is needed to make it right. This is an honest review and I hope you will give it a try.

Having heard a lot about the long waiting times, I was prepared to battle for a table. To my surprise, we were seated on time, and our appetizers came out quickly. The calamari was fantastic but could use a bit more aioli. Unfortunately, some of the duck dishes were disappointingly average. The scallops were outstanding, but the rest of the plate fell short. The large chip on top needed more salt, and the potatoes were off, lacking flavor that could have been enhanced with rosemary or goat cheese. The carrots felt out of place, and the salmon was quite bland. I’m still unsure what the purple item was. Overall, it was just okay. However, the green beans were crispy and refreshingly sweet and fresh. The filet mignon was AMAZING!!! The same can’t be said for the rest of the dish. The dessert was decent, but it didn’t quite come together. The mousse contained nuts (I think walnuts) that were not listed on the menu, and while the cocoa powder looked nice, it left a dry feeling in my mouth. The customer service was fantastic; Blake was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. It’s a great place!
