The Resting Nomad - MAMMOTH LAKES

Unfortunately, this place was terrible. eating, a waiter without limits, class or human skills all on a lousy birthday for my friend. the food was not good. pasta in a cheese soup we grieved for the penne because there was so much cheese sauce. the chicken skewers cold squares immersed in bbq sauce ugh! sweet potato friends were good. will never be here again.

When we arrived at 18:30 a.m., there was only another few in the restaurant. 30 empty tables. I wanted to get us. nothing on the table. a menu. menu had 10 items and 3 items, nothing like menu on the website. no ambiente. dirty window. we went without order. take off the open table.

We dined at David's restaurant, and I believe he truly cooks with passion. The dishes are either simple or surprisingly delightful—take the quinoa plate, for example. The service was outstanding; we even received a complimentary appetizer because we had to wait a bit for the fresh quinoa to be prepared. The prices are very reasonable, and there's an additional 10% charge if you're staying at the Best Western nearby. Overall, it's a fantastic place to eat! Whenever I return to Mammoth Lakes, I will definitely come back to this restaurant.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food was subpar, and the waiter lacked professionalism and social skills, which made my friend's birthday celebration less enjoyable. The pasta was drowning in cheese sauce, making it hard to even taste the penne. The chicken skewers were served cold and were overly drenched in BBQ sauce—quite unappetizing! The sweet potato fries, however, were enjoyable. Overall, I won't be returning to this place.

When we arrived at 6:30, there was just one other couple in the restaurant, and there were 30 empty tables. I wanted to find a place to sit, but there were no menus on the tables. After a while, we did receive a menu, which only featured 10 items and 3 entrees—completely different from what was shown on their website. The atmosphere was lacking, and the windows were dirty. We ended up leaving without ordering anything. I suggest removing this restaurant from the open table listings.
