The food and service are both excellent. My favorite dish was the biscuits and gravy; the meat was a bit chewy, but still tasty. The mini pies make for a delightful small treat— we tried the blackberry and apple and they're delicious! I’ll definitely be trying the other flavors on my next visit.
The Stove is my go-to place for a comforting, satisfying meal. The home-cooked dishes are not only delicious; they feel like a warm embrace for your palate. And those potatoes? Simply incredible! They have a special quality that transforms simple spuds into pure happiness on a plate. But what really sets The Stove apart is its people. The staff are like culinary magicians, radiating positive energy and making you feel right at home. Dining here is more than just a meal; it's an experience, thanks to this amazing team. From the first bite to the last spoonful, my overall experience has been consistently fantastic. If you love tasty food, outstanding potatoes, friendly faces, and a great atmosphere, The Stove is the place to be. I highly recommend this cozy spot for anyone looking for a delightful meal and a heartwarming experience.
I ordered a crisp Belgian waffle with extra butter and sugar-free syrup, and it was absolutely perfect. My wife ordered extra-crisp bacon, and it was also perfect. Service was good, and staff was prompt and polite. Restrooms are a little cramped, but otherwise a nice place.
Excellent breakfast. I got the pan scramble with steak. So good and so much food. I was thoroughly full for the day. Great service and environment. It's a local place with great history.
Hostess was nice, was seated right away. Eggs weren't cooked right. Country fried steak was chewy and not edible, biscuits were dry flavorless and tasted a day old. Coffee wasn't good. The server was OK. Didn't ask if we needed anything or if we liked our food. Didn't bring us another side we had ordered. Home fries were burnt like chip chunks. Ambiance was fine, nothing to rave about. There are definitely WAY BETTER places to eat on this road in mammoth that are 2-6 minutes away.
