Parking may be an issue here. Ordered paratha with tea for breakfast,it was good . Best time to be here is evening when the cafe is lit with music and light .
Went to have breakfast. The place has nice ambience and the food is also very good. Their Sunshine Breakfast is very good and heavy, One can easily skip lunch after having that. Very friendly hosts. They even have open air sitting option.
Unfortunately, my experience with the meat lasagna was not up to par. Despite the promising appearance of the dish, the pasta sheets were disappointingly dry and chewy. The texture of the pasta made it difficult to enjoy the flavors of the meat and cheese filling. I was disappointed to find that the lasagna did not meet my expectations, especially given that it is a classic Italian dish. Overall, I would not recommend this lasagna to others who are looking for a delicious and satisfying meal.
Manali for For first time that is also in Hyundai Eon from Siliguri, Darjeeling, WB. Must visit Sunshine Cafe. Very Polite and Gentle staffs and owner. Decent and ethnic foods to taste. Chill vibration inside the cafe. More I can say is, its humble persons place for having a good time. My break took 3 hrs. Met few gentlemen there and had a great time. Big Recommendation
Like its name, Sunshine Café welcomes you on Old Manali 's main drag. The green brick interiors with faux tent like ceiling must be really welcoming on a warm day. On a winter day, it can make a cold day seem colder. When I was there, there were a grand total of three customers, including I. The other two were using the cafés wi fi to work from home. Sunshine 's USP seems to be the trance music they play through the day, the live music scene from 6pm to midnight, the sheesha hukkas and beer. Though, who would like to shell US$ 5 for a Tuborg is beyond me. Expensive beer and wine seems certainly to be an ongoing issue, as a sign near the entrance says DO NOT BRING DRINK(sic) FROM OUTSIDE . Clearly Sunshine has a hidden USP, as it 's menu is run of the mill Old Manali and its prices quite immodest, justifying its extensive seating arrangements at two levels. A lower mattress seating area in a courtyard by the river(but without a view), an outdoor seating space outside the café proper and an L shaped indoor area with both table chair seating and comfortablr cushions on the floor. If anything, I 'd recommend the tables beside wide windows overlooking the street as being exceptional for people watching during the season, when tourists from several nationalities throng Old Manali. As I 'd had breakfast and it was too early for lunch, I ordered a milk coffee. Sadly, the café isn 't much into coffees no cappuccinos, americanos or latte. The coffee was hot in an unmatched cup and plate. After downing it in a few gulps, I lingered on, people watching with a book in hand.
