Esquires - Manama

Used to be GREAT place. Used to have great coffee, great service and pretty good deserts. Easy parking was also a huge plus. Last time I went however, the serve was painfully slow and the cookies were hard (not good crunchy hard, but nasty too hard to break off hard). The coffee was still ok, I suppose but far from great. Maybe it was just that day. Or just that shift. Or just me. I dont know, will probably give it another go

A very cozy coffee shop, nice design, decor, lighting, atmosphere. And very welcoming and friendly staff. If you don't like crowded places (like Starbucks, just opposite of it) then this is the place to go, two floors, and good sitting for studying, working or just enjoying your coffee and/or small meal which I'm going come back for them later. There's tables good for your laptop, but not for your mouse, some mice might work but the majority will not like the table surface (Hey, Logitech Anywhere wireless mouse helps here and even on glass surface if you know what I mean). but if you only use the touchpad don't worry. Electric outlets are there for your needs. They offered USB battery for a while for your charging pleasure, but it seems the idea wasn't that good so they don't have now any, just bring your own wall charger and cable. And they have free WiFi also, just ask them for the password. The coffee, aaah the coffee. just a wonderful experience, they have very nice selection of all organic coffee, freshly prepared and grounded for you taste buds pleasure. It's the only place I know who really know the difference between Americano and Long Black and they do both very well. They also know the Flat white which is good also, other coffee flavours are good, black or Latte. The coffee is rich, the texture is very good also specially when comparing Long Black to Americano. Casual meals are good and a nice selection they have: sandwiches, wraps, croissants, Muffins and cakes. Thought I would love to have smaller pieces of those cakes. They also have small selection for freshly prepared scrambled eggs for breakfast, thought I would like the eggs to be cooked less that hard.

Over priced. I ordered a chocolate milkshake bd2.5 it was just cold milk with chocolate in it and they wanted to charge 200fils extra for whipped cream. what a scam.

The branch in Alnakheel centre is very nice but the service is bad. People who work there should be trained better. I wish they had healthier food options.
