To be honest, the location in the Manassas shopping center is sketch, but the inside felt alive with lights and music. The owners were great at making us feel welcomed and the hookah was really smooth. I appreciated the consistent monitoring with the coal and checking in on us. I am taking stars away because it was a really young crowd. We're 30 and we felt out of place. The music was also not enjoyable. I don't know how else to say this without sounding old, but the music was so loud I couldn't hear my husband talking next to me. Which also would've been fine, but they kept changing the music in the middle of songs and going back and forth from popular artists like Drake to Indian pop and then change in the middle of the songs. I'm not sure if we will go back, but if we do, it most likely won't be on a Friday night with a bunch of high schoolers.
Came here with some friends to hangout and see some belly dancing and it was going ok until the end. At first when we came in, they told us it would be $5 only if you're sharing a hookah and that's what it said on the menu. Ok fair enough. I don't smoke anything and didn't want to at all but just wanted to spend time with my friends. At the end they insisted we all pay $5 even though we didn't order anything. Now from a business perspective, I understand that we're taking seats that could have potential revenue from other customer. I get that. However, what upset me was that they did not state that at the beginning and the nasty attitude of the owner/manager. He claimed it was written on the menu but when I read it back to him which CLEARLY stated that it said it's $5 only if you share a hookah then he started to get an attitude. You call that customer service? Sneaky fees and arguing with customers? I had snap chatted the belly dancing and had people asking me where this place was. Well I will definitely tell them not to go. Next time either charge a $5 entry fee before people come in or tell your customers clearly about the $5 fee and don't get an attitude and start arguing with customers. I don't care about the $5 but it's about the principle.
Dear Hookah Zone, People who call are potential customers. When you're hostile with them on the phone they will take themselves and their money elsewhere.
This place sucks! They triple charge you to listen to unknown artists and don't tell you until you go to pay. If you can avoid this place, do yourself a favor!
Place was great! When we came in the place was a little quiet compared to the hookah lounges I've been too. We asked if we could play songs and turn up the music and the guy was more than happy to allow us to do it! Not sure what the guys name was but he was very nice and attentive to our needs. We got the wings and the fries and they tasted great. Would come here again!!
