The waitress promptly took our drink order, and we were pleasantly surprised to find out it was happy hour, which is rare in this area. My husband enjoyed the wings so much that he practically sucked the bones dry. I ordered a bowl of soup and a Caesar salad with chicken. The soup was amazing - homemade and perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness. The Caesar salad had fresh lettuce, cheese, and well-marinated chicken. My husband ordered a sausage dish and was so satisfied that he didn't say a word throughout the meal, finishing not only his dish but also my soup. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.
The pork sliders are incredible! The atmosphere is always fantastic and the staff is very welcoming. Perfect spot to catch a Celtics game!
I, and my friend, a vegetarian, have been there twice together (he has been there a couple of times before) in the last month. First time...he ordered dahl and I got an app. of fried plantains and the curry goat with side of roti. Both of us had a couple draft beers. Second time he ordered the red snapper (which I tried and it's real good....a little bony) and I had oxtail stew with butter beans and it was spicy and real good. A little noisy (music), but service is real good and good selection of beer. They have limited menu, but the Jamaican food (wow! on the curry sauce) is very good. Definitely will go back. happy trails.
The only positive aspect of this restaurant is that it stays open late and doesn't rush you when it's time to close. However, the quality of the drinks is severely lacking. Despite being called "The Pint," it's nearly impossible to find a decent beer there. In my experience over the past few years, every beer on tap has tasted sour and stale, and they are often served at room temperature. Even the canned and bottled beers seem to have been poorly stored, tasting as if they have been sitting in a hot room for months and starting to spoil. Despite trying multiple different beers, I couldn't finish a single one due to their unappetizing taste. The prices are also inconsistent and often end up being around $5 for a 12oz light beer, which seems overpriced for the poor quality. The bartenders also seem confused when asked about the cost of a drink, often taking several minutes to come up with a random price. It's clear that they make up prices as they go along, making it difficult to trust the establishment.
Great drinks the best service great bartenders good food, the vibe is amazing and the blonde bartender is the best
