West County Uncle Bill's Pancake And Dinner House

The dining experience here is excellent, and the staff is very hardworking. I've been coming to this place, Purple, since it opened 30 years ago. They manage to turn tables quickly, so the wait for a table isn't long at all. However, I did notice some flies, which I think need to be addressed. I absolutely love the pancakes, waffles, French toast, and omelettes!

The dining experience was fantastic! I ordered the chicken fried steak, which came with two eggs, hash browns, and three pancakes. I couldn't finish the last pancake! The chicken fried steak was large and thick, cooked to perfection. However, the eggs were a bit overcooked. Our server, Meridien, did an excellent job and was very friendly.

The food was disgusting. I tried to overlook the presentation and tried a tiny bite that I could hardly fall. The waitress never came by until she took the bill. She said no word about my food being untouched. I told her it wasn't frisssbar, I'm sorry or something... grabbed the board and came with a new revised bill that gave me a full refund. That's the only part they're right. Don't waste your time or money.

Eggs were small in portion but that is what made it right. It was just enough for my plate. The bacon was just the way I like it. That mix between really crunchy but still has the chewy parts. Our waiter needs a little training on serving but that was overshadowed by the other staff that came and checked on us. Our waiter came to take our order and to bring our food. Other than that we didn't see her again at our table, but at others. The other staff helped make this review 4 stars.

Amazing breakfast spot! The bacon was crisped to perfection, the pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, and the eggs were good too. My plate was loaded. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere inside. Great coffee as well. Overall a really good visit and I would recommend stopping by and giving it a try!
