The personal pizza is almost $20 (you get better slices, larger slices in NYC for less), and this is the truth. My pack had the iceberg seed in it, the one half had the whole chicken in it while the other had one piece. I don't even know what to say. We had a great breakfast at UP FOR BREAKFAST, went on an adventure and looking for a lunch place, we decided this was the winner. Hey, it wasn't horrible either. Next trip to Vermont, we go up this place.
Order a white pizza to go. It was delicious. The lady who took our order was super nice. I really liked this place. Will be back
From the places in the city this would be a good one to go, some of their pizzas have the basic pizza flavor, but they have special pizzas that are good, they tend to be busy and you may have to wait a few up and get food, but the indoor dining area is a great atmosphere to eat in.
Restaurant experience was not as expected. Menu and website was perceived as a full-service restaurant. In reality, my group was seven adults, as no reservations are accepted, I called and let them know we were on the way. Upon arrival the restaurant was near empty, Hostess told us we had to order, then choose a table, food / drinks would be served. Beverages were served half an hour later, followed by food. We are not unusable about free refills, spices for pizzas (cooked powder, brushed pepper/oregano and cheese) and if said, the staff did nothing. As for pizza and mozzarella sticks, bland and taste. The staff was unfriendly, did nothing to solve problems, and the food made there pizza hat look like a 5-star deal.(2 small/personal simple pizza 4 slices and 2 Snapple $50)
Pepperoni pizza was great. Crust was crispy all around, top and bottom. I like that but some in my party like soft, chewy crust. Their review may mention that. Can you please everyone? Rhetorical question? No defense needed. One person on the incoming register was awesome, but at times overwhelmed, as was the kitchen. Short staff? Maybe. Not paying attention to completed orders? For sure. We waited for 45 minutes, in full view of the young lady on the register, while other customers came and went. They were take outs, just like us. My small pizza was put on top of the oven to keep warm. The panini we ordered was put near to the register, for the young lady to ring us up, I suspect. No communication behind the counter. Then, someone moved the panini on top of my pizza. I didn't realize it was mine because it was ready in about 15 minutes, but put in different locations. Someone should have notified the order taker that the order was ready. But, the big problem was no communication between the kitchen staff and overwhelmed young lady at the register. Good product, and I would go back, but would probably eat in for a better experience timewise.
