Chiquito - Manchester

We went to this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday evening. The food was good, especially the beer-battered gherkins. My wife enjoyed some delicious Christmas cocktails. Our main dishes were tasty, although my portion was smaller than expected. The only downside was the service. The restaurant was quiet, but we waited around 25-30 minutes just to place our order. It seemed like our original waiter had forgotten about us, but another waiter eventually noticed and took our order. This pattern continued throughout the night, and we probably waited a total of an hour for service.

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and helpful. The food is top-notch and reasonably priced.

We chose to have breakfast at Chiquito's. The atmosphere was delightful, and the server was friendly and attentive, checking in on us to make sure we were satisfied. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast, which was delicious with scrambled eggs, mushrooms, peppers, hash browns, beans, and toast served in a hot skillet. My wife had the meat version, which was also beautifully presented and tasty. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and yes, I even wore a sombrero!

Went tuesday lunch time and food great, service great, would recommend.

Your typical Chiquitos nice food, but over priced and takes awhile to get it. Very slow service.
