We had a great evening here and tasted the special 7-speed menu that they ran in januar for £25! what a deal. it was really busy for a Monday night and eating is the reason behind it! the crispy inkfish was my favorite dish, the honey sauce was something from this world. the pork was probably also the best I ever had. we have inhaled the food so quickly, but unfortunately we waited for one of our courses for some time. I think we forgot. but this did not pamper the evening and the food was worth waiting when it arrived. would like to come back and the young man who served us was fab!
Based on several people who recommend this place, I decided to cure the advice and book a table for a Valentine's Day. it was really unexpected and beautiful that they offered a bouquet service (paid for separately) that could have ordered flowers and delivered to the table before we arrived for booking. the table we were provided was a stand with seating up to 6 people (and the flowers,) the really brilliant, thoughtful and gave us a lot of space for the filling of which we were just to order. the personal was attentive, sincere and responsive from beginning to end. in the rule, our experiences have varied with mid-eating menus or check requests that can take a long time and they feel somewhat ignored and neglected this was absolutely not the experience in cottonopolis. I've never been happy to pay the service fee. we decided to go for 'a la carte' in contrast to the fixed price taste of cotton menu as we prefer to get everything we like the sound of. a mixture of sushi yakitori, grilled green, chicken catsu, fish, gyoza and even dessert was ordered. we were recommended to order 3 plates that are a solid recommendation if they have a huge appetit order about 5 6 plates with drinks and heavier sides / dishes like rice, bao bungalows is better suited if they want to feel full at a point in the evening! we look forward to the return and try the other articles!
Japanese inspired restaurant and bar in some I had a lunch @cottonopolis_manchester located in a grade II listing building. what i got sushi sashimi plate miso black cod with carrots ingwersauce cod loin yaki char siu bao bun the plate contained sashimi, nigiri and maki. I loved the hamachi with truffle mayo the most. it was full of fish oil and perfectly matched with truffle mayo. incredible combination
Didn't get the name of the bartender but he made me a twist on the espresso martini with whiskey and it was amazing as well as other cocktails. One with raw cocoa powder on top got me a sore throat for hours, stuff like that never works raw on top of a cocktail. And then I saw the manager pouring some white wine.in the jigger and then not washing it. What's the point of a great selection of wines, not a single Italian tho, if you mix flavours by not washing your equipment?
