Michaels Coffee House - Manchester

A fantastic independent coffee house located in the arcade of the Royal Exchange. The barista, George, was incredibly welcoming and friendly, along with his colleague. I ordered a white mocha, and it was so delicious that I couldn't resist getting a second cup! If you find yourself in the city, definitely give this place a try. It surpasses all those generic coffee chain shops and offers a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a moment of relaxation while watching the world go by.

The coffee and cakes here are fantastic. However, I've visited seven times in the past four months, and each time I've ordered a drink, they have either added coffee when it shouldn’t be there or forgotten a topping. I always come at off-peak times, so it’s disappointing.

Today, I had my first visit to Michael's Coffee House, and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Located in a cozy spot in Manchester City Centre, it has a great vibe. My friend treated me to a pistachio latte, and I must say, it was the best latte I’ve ever had! As someone who drinks coffee every day— I’m practically 90% coffee!— I can confidently say this place ranks among the finest I’ve visited. The weight and sensation of the latte on my tongue, along with its delightful texture, made it truly memorable. I highly recommend this coffee house to everyone, especially the pistachio latte! I also tried a Nutella cookie, which was sweet, warm, and had a delightful texture. Once again, that pistachio latte was absolutely irresistible!

Had a gorgeous breakfast here this morning there was a bit of a queue but was totally worth it (and can understand why). The food was delicious, and service was quick friendly. Especially loved the pistachio croissant style, which I’ve never had before but will definitely be getting again. Also thought it very reasonably priced for central Manchester. It is a fairly small cafe, so would recommend going outside of peak breakfast time to avoid queuing but service was fast so the queue was moving.

Amazing coffee! Good baristas and friendly staff. The soup of the day was so lovely. They noticed I was sharing with my partner and provided an extra slice of toast : always my go-to when shopping around the area!
