(usually beautiful) we asked for a garden and got mushy heaped and finally the chocolate wing cake was given minus the ice. Unfortunately, it won't be in a hurry to go back. not sure if the chef changed.
Fantastic value for money - two courses for only £9.95 available every day until 5pm. The portion sizes were generous and the food was delicious. I started with the bruschetta and then enjoyed the turkey and ham stir-fry for dinner. My companion had the pate followed by the highly praised linguine. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great value for money.
Even though we live nearby, we had never visited this place as we always thought of it as just a "pub." However, we decided to give it a try this evening at 5 o'clock and were pleasantly surprised to find that it is actually a very family-friendly establishment. The staff were incredibly accommodating towards our children and we plan on becoming regulars now that we know how welcoming and hospitable this place is towards families. We are not sure who owns the restaurant, but the employees working on the evening of September 10th were outstanding and truly reflected well on the establishment.
For a delicious Sunday dinner. super delicate bark meat, great variety of veg and generous gravy. we had only one main course, but they can get 3 courses for £20, the appetizers and desserts we saw were served very generous portions,... much to choose. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
