Pizza Express Didsbury - Manchester

Regularly go to pizza express with kids, I usually tend to order the same for all as we love it. But fancy a change tonight and I was very disappointed. Meal I had was just spaghetti in tomato purée. So disappointed unfortunately. I didn’t mention anything as waiting staff were great and obviously not their fault

I’m sat at home, basking in a food coma after a wonderful meal here. We turned up, me and my three kids with my other half, for an early birthday dinner out for me. 37 in 3 days. We had a wonderful set of starters and main course and my word, the waitress managing us must have heard us mention my upcoming birthday. Before I new it they’d brought over some cake and a charming happy birthday message etched out in powdered sugar. I was so pleasantly surprised. I almost wished I’d taken the names of the lovely women who served us but sending lots of praises their way. I had a wonderful evening, made all the better because of the lovely service here.

Had an evening meal in here just before Halloween making use of an 02 priority moment offer which included any mains and pumpkin shaped dough balls for a set price. The dough balls were lovely served with fresh garlic butter. For main i had pollo forza pizza cooked to perfection with a crisp yet not burnt base, there was a good helping of topping too having experienced a miniscule sprinkling in other locations of this chain. Usually not a fan of thin pizza and previously have found some pizza express locations below par on taste and quality. I would highly recommend this restaraunt, it 's good transport links and short distance to parking and bars is a bonus too.

We were a group of ten people with three young kids that loved the food and were happy through most of the evening (we would recommend larger tables so kid's feet can't touch underneath.. . attentive and friendly service.

Needed feeding late evening and a lovely welcome from Fern. Pizza was delicious with attentive staff and.no pressure to finish despite the time. Nothing was too much for Fern or Hannah, a lovely experience all round, thankyou!
