I didn't get a chicken sub, what I got was a scrawny wrap with 3 pieces of chicken and a few bits of lettuce. This was thrown into a box wrapped in foil with a handful of fries. This is not worth £5. I should have known better, most of the fast food shops in the Village are **** and expensive. Should have gone to the Village chippy next door, the fish and chips portions are twice the size for half the price.
Best kebab I have ever had , whatever you want they will do and the staff are lovely and welcoming !
No longer the only source of falafel wraps in the city centre, Safad’s are still the biggest, tastiest and best value. Along with healthy Middle Eastern snacks their pizza is fast and fresh, if you do doughy comfort cheese pizza. When I’ve shared a friend’s food even the standard burger chips stuff was better than other places. What isn’t better is the decor you do need to be drunk. However drunk you are, you’ll feel sober compared to every other customer. Collectively you’ll appear ascetics against the chaos unfolding outside. Tourists, dramatists and extra terrestrials wanting a taste of the Gay Village and Manchester at night could do no better than sit here with a snack after midnight. Praise is due to all the staff for remaining polite and continuing to serve such tasty food.
I love this place. So glad it has reopened. Great staff. Great falafel. Great fatayer. Perfect late night stop off to soak up the boozy night.
Every time I'm in the mood for a falafel wrap, this is my go-to spot! It's always a pleasure to dine here, and the owner is incredibly friendly.
