Salvi’s Mozzarella - Manchester

Absolutely fantastic. beautiful atmosphere, friendly and friendly staff, but the food! wow. we had the cutting plate and some broth and oil for the starter between 4 of us and there was rest, it was huge. everything was delicious on the plate. the net was all incredibly perfectly cooked and decent size portioning. the shot of limoncello at the end was also a nice note. thanks for a nice evening. we're back!

First time I came in October I was really disappointed with the service but decided to give it another try because the food is amazing. The change is incredible, the staff are so attentive and I enjoyed my dining experience. Note: they did add a 10% service charge.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They greeted us quickly and we got seated quickly however we had to ask for menus. Drinks were on the pricy side £9.50 for an Aperol Spritz. The food was of good quality and came well presented. They did ask us if we wanted some water for the table, to my mind I thought this would be free tap water, however they charged us for a large bottle of water. Also there is a 10% service charge at the end of the bill. I didn't particularly agree with this as there were only two of us and they never asked us to put it on the bill.

This restaurant is perhaps the most authentic Italian place around. The food is very fresh, delicious, and made just like Grandma would cook! My only issue is that the ambiance and service can feel a bit overpriced. I would recommend it, but I think there are other places that offer similar quality at a better price.

Salvi was a huge fan of the John Dalton Street location, so they were really disappointed when it closed during the pandemic. Unfortunately, they haven’t had the chance to visit the original restaurant yet! The restaurant at the Corn Exchange is cozy, while an Italian deli and shop offering many tasty items is located above. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious! It’s great Italian comfort food. They would highly recommend it for anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine!
