Scottish Steak Club - Manchester

With a friend to dinner. the service started well, but worsened toward end when we had to wait minutes until our main plates could be clarified. the appetizers of the scallop were delicious. we had both different steak cuts for our main course, which were perfectly cooked on request. the chips couldn't impress my gas, and I, we both had much better elsewhere. / the large part of the restaurant is clean, however, as it is the same area used to the breakfast, additional attention is required to delete the eating on the side of the leather seats.

Large service < br/>Thursday evening was my last time back to this restaurant since februar and much has changed since. I have sunk here every other month and was never disappointed, and fortunately I can say about my visit this week. the filetsteak was perfectly cooked and the garnish was fresh and tasty. one of my appetizers was amazing because of the blue cheese dike it came with and my sticky toffee pudding was just perfect. and to surpass everything, was the excellent service of marta, which ensured that my visit was the best thing it could be! marta made some excellent dishes, and knew when I needed to check if I needed anything without being excessive, as in some restaurants, and knew exactly when I brought the next course. a great culinary experience that is met by martas service know-how! I will now make a point to visit more regularly whether I stay in their hotel or not.

Very limited choice of 2 starters and 2 mains using a Groupon deal. Wine was good and staff were also good but place was being renovated and lacked any coziness and atmosphere.

Hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment so was a little difficult to locate the restaurant. We had a Wowcher deal which was great value. We enjoyed a three course meal and a bottle of wine. The staff were all great special mention to Habish who made us feel very welcome. Many thanks!

We visited this restaurant after it supposedly had been refurbished. My chair was broken, the menu was extremely limited, they only had one type of white wine that was undrinkable, food was bland and tiny portions, no salt or pepper on table, had to request cutlery after each course. We spoke to the manager who couldn't care less. I am embarrassed that I took my friends here. Would never return.
