The room was large, warm, clean, and nicely decorated. The bathroom had a large bath with a shower, and the king size bed was very comfortable with clean bedding. There were extra touches like a food basket filled with treats, and everything we needed for a pleasant stay including tea, coffee making facilities, and a fridge. The staff were lovely and very helpful, and we enjoyed a great value and good meal in the bar for dinner. Breakfast was available outside our room with a variety of options such as fruit, cereals, porridge, fresh juices, milk, and cheese. Overall, it was a fantastic place and I would definitely stay again. Thank you, Mark.
We had a delightful family Sunday lunch today at this restaurant. The atmosphere was fabulous, the place was really clean, and the staff was very friendly. The food was awesome! It was tasty, fresh, and the portion size was great. Overall, it was wholesome, great value for money, and delicious. We love this place, it feels very homely and you can't beat a family-run local business.
I think the pub is lovely but it’s now ran by little kids majority of them are childish .. the food went down hill a few years ago literally from starters to roast dinners on a Sunday . Simply not worth price not to mention the price of beer .. moretti £6.20 wow so is Heineken … mark canny sort it out mate wow
Staff are great, accommodation lovely, the management great, food great... would highly recommend to anyone visiting.
Wonderful Autumn Menu. Exceptional quality and unbelievable value. Braised beef, luscious mash, onions and gravy. Beautifully cooked sea bass, new pots, lemon and caper sauce with samphire. For starters, home made crab cakes. Lovely attentive service and staff. Best meal of the year in a great, friendly and community focussed pub. Price: £15 for 2 courses. How do they do it?
