Topkapi Palace - Manchester

I'd forgotten how good this place actually is absolutely fabulous food and incredibly friendly service. Sad that COVID early closing forced us out quicker than planned as could have stayed for a while....

Good value set meal, we went quite late for lunch so it lacked a little in atmosphere and service

The ‘lux mezze’ selection included a great variety with generous portions and tasted delicious. The grilled chicken main was tasty. Unfortunately, the grilled swordfish was tough and had a rather strong and unpleasant taste of the grill and therefore seemed overdone. Would certainly return to try other dishes though.

Starters were lovely. Main course I found a large string of metal from a can in my food which could have cut my mouth open if I hadn’t noticed it before putting in my mouth. A shame as I used to love coming to this restaurant plus it was both myself and my mates birthday so was ruined.

This restaurant is excellent. It was a favorite spot for me back when I lived in Manchester over 20 years ago. And it's still just as great today.
