Such a brilliant bartender, absolutely made our night. Go to this bar, so much genuine manc fun! Go Steve!

Visited Tusks Manchester last night 18th March 2017 with friends as we had tickets for Elbow concert and wanted food couple of drinks before show. We found a table bought cocktails ordered food all sat down to chill,chat have fun....... The Chilling,chat fun lasted literally 10mins as the music was turned up too a ridiculous level of noise where you had to shout and as we was sat near the speaker felt like we was in a night club. Other people sat around were looking astonished and was saying they are leaving. My husband asked very politely the bar man Could the music be turned down slightly? Bar mans reply was No.....as people want it loud I myself had come up to the bar now and heared his comment and told him When we walked in to Tusks we liked what we saw the embience of the place (music not too loud that we decided to order food drinks How ever if Rude bar man had told us when ordering food that at 7.00pm the music would be turned up to Night Club level we would of walked right our of Tusks. Your rude bar man told me too calm down and was actually smirking about the fact that we was asking for the music to be turned down. Another bar man did try and sort problem but music was obviously not going to be turned down so we cancelled our food order left,followed by two full tables of people. I have been in pub/restaurants where they turn music up at 9.00pm and I quite understand that as you want younger clientele but please 7.00pm........ My husband myself live in Heaton Moor have not visited Tusks here yet after last night fiasco probably never will....... After leaving Tusks feeling angry upset about the way YOUR Staff YOU hire were so rude we walked into Dough Pizza House to friendly staff,delicious Pizza,excellent wine,good conversation with music you could hear but not blasting and had a fabulous night. Will be returning back to Dough Pizza House recommending to friends family as for Tusks.......i think you know the answer to that!

I don't see nothing special in this place. Don't like so much the entrance doesn't look nice, seems small but probably there was only one part open, so I don't know how is it opening everything.Cocktail so and so. Stuff is nice.Decoration in Sud African style really poor!!

A friend and I walked into Walrus and stumbled upon Tusk as the two are linked together on the inside. I was delighted at our find. No only does the bar have a great happy hour but the bar man who was working that night was the most informative bar worker I had met in a long time. You could tell he was incredibly passionate and he changed up the happy hour cocktails using the same ingredients, only making it his (better and preferred) cocktail. Probably the best Tommys margarita I have ever had. The bar itself is very chilled out and relaxed and a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend.
