Brasserie Le Saint Charles

Stopped by for an evening drink on way to hotel. Being winter it was not particularly busy but the drinks were fine and the service okay.

I'm gonna be honest, i've never eaten such a bad pasta con vongole. It was all garlic and onion. Vongole not on the level of the price.

The restaurant is listed as vegetarian friendly. A broad concept … what it is for me (and how I have experienced it in the past at other places) that staff helps me to arrange a combination of some dishes/ ingredients in order to grant me a joyful dinner. The menu listed two vegetarian dishes: pizza or an ‘eastern dish’ … no other options (salads, fries, veggies) were possible … A bit disappointing.. the chosen dish was ‘okay’ enough.

A must-see address on the street that has kept its quality over the years. I've been on a regular basis in this place and I've never been disappointed in it.People are pleasant and reactive. the restaurant is located on a large square, the usual place of the market of the town, which allows children to decorate their legs safely in the summer. the map is well balanced with, in addition, a new suggestion every day. very good cuisine, typical brewery, neat and generous. During my last visit, I tasted an excellent St-Charles tartare (poilt, with walnut and roquefort) as well as succulent Burrata-Chorizo linguine... a delight.
