In these 3 bottles for children one was perished 1 year, hat....After no alcohol, guests had to pay for it .... look for the error, while we had to have it. Then mr the boss wanted to eat at 9:00, complaining that the barbecue was ready and that it started to cost him expensive in coal!!!!! Then, as long as he saw his very friendly head, we settled and started eating. It was necessary to use and in addition we were rationalized, too strong!!!!!! the wine was I think of vinegar or then the cheapest lescher !!!! we still had the right to cheese, youpi.Then for the dessert we planned fruit and ice cream salad but as we did not ask for the ice, our dear restorer said that it wasn't the trouble to go out of the evening.
Passing through the area, we put our campsite because at the campsite of the silver and with friends we went to eat at the restaurant of the campsite. We arrived at this place not knowing that the management had changed. It may have changed name as well I am not sure but it is the restaurant at the camping de l’Argentiere. We should have walked away but other restaurants are not nearby. I broke my new rule which is never try a restaurant around here until it has been going for at least 12 months. It is cheap but I still think you should expect better. The first bad sign was that the lady serving had a dirty top. My wife asked for a Kir (White wine and Crème de Cassis). She was returning from the loo and they were searching for drinks and it appears this came out of a premixed bottle and she could not drink it. There was almost no choice. The starter was a small salad which consisted of a few leaves, some grated cheese, and some of that pink pate shaped like a big sausage. Not thrilling. The main was galettes de viande which is not what you think. It was two small meat balls with a mushroom sauce and spaghetti. The spaghetti had no sauce other that the tiny amount of the mushroom sauce and was almost cold. The sauce appeared to be reconstituted with boiling water. The meat itself was OK.The starter and main was Euro 10.50 so although cheap we won’t be going back.
Our friends invited us to a dinner at the silver well restaurant. We were very surprised by the restaurant: a modern and well-kept setting, renovated last year. our friends told us that the reception of the waiter was sometimes the coolest but the smiling and professional reception of a young woman immediately seduced us. she kindly installed us, presented the map and advised according to our tastes. the owner came to greet us and advise us on the wines to marry the dishes we had chosen at best. the dishes were delicious, nicely presented. The very friendly atmosphere, discreet but effective presence of the staff. an excellent evening, a very good value for money. We'll go back there for the dance evenings that are very popular on the street. We warmly recommend this address.
This is still not a bad place but the set menu has shot up to over 18 euro. The best bet is probably to have the plate of the day and a starter of dessert. They should have a cheaper lunchtime "formulae".
