Mandina's - Mandeville

Today, I enjoyed the barbecue shrimp and grits, which were quite tasty. The biscuit was excellent, and the French bread they serve while you wait for your food was also really delicious. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, although the prices are a bit higher than they used to be. Overall, I had a very good lunch today and would recommend it to anyone.

I haven't been impressed during my three visits over the past three years. The service was mediocre, and the food was just average. I expect to have specific cravings when I go to a seafood restaurant, but unfortunately, I haven't experienced that here.

I ordered the seafood platter from the lunch menu, and it was fantastic! Everything was cooked to perfection! My husband chose the catfish platter, which was also quite good. My grandson had the Muffaletta and finished every last bite! Mandina's is definitely one of my family's favorites!

Food was great! Everyone was nice. The waitress needs to work on keeping the drinks filled. We had an empty glass of ice tea and water for 15+ min while more 5 employees were standing around the wait station. Other than that everything was prettygood. I would return. 4.4/5

I visited the restaurant for Father's Day! The food was decent, but I wish I had opted for Italian instead of seafood. However, one person in our group ordered the trout almondine, and it looked really impressive. I thought I had taken a picture of it!
