Chicken N Fish - Mandurah

Excellent service and delicious food. The owner was extremely kind.

**Service:** The service wasn't terrible; in fact, the staff were friendly and engaging. However, when I requested a piece of fish to be freshly cooked, my request was declined, and I ended up with a piece from the display. **Food:** I had hoped the fish would be freshly prepared, but it was undercooked and had a somewhat unappetizing taste. The chips were lukewarm but decent, while the salad was fresh and quite tasty. The tartar sauce was thicker than I prefer, but that’s a matter of personal taste. **Shop Display:** The salad bar looked vibrant and appealing, packed with colorful options, while the hot food display appeared lackluster, dull, and uninviting. **Cost:** I felt that what I received did not justify the price I paid. If you’re going to spend a premium, you should at least get a premium product, which was not the case this time. **Summary:** People will wait for quality fish and chips because they are not typically a fast food option—unless you’re at a lunch bar, where prices are more reasonable. It’s unfortunate that people settle for meals here when better options might exist elsewhere. My recommendation is to skip this place and stick with your local or favorite fish and chip shop. If you’re looking for something quick and are seriously craving fish and chips, this might be an option for you, but otherwise, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. I’m giving it a 2-star rating in hopes they make some improvements.

Complete waste of money! The reviewer who called the food excellent must be the owner! The chips were cold, the gravy was flavorless, and everything was overpriced! It’s clear that no fresh food is being prepared, so who knows how long the food has been sitting there, and is it even safe to eat when it’s served so cold? I would describe the staff as rude, but to be fair, I think they're just too young and under-trained without adequate support. The man who claimed to be the manager was particularly rude to me and to the poor girls working there. Stay away!!!

Waited roughly 7 minutes for service. Bain Maries were all empty, fridges were only half stocked, and no sign of any workers. Went next door and got served straight away only to see a blonde girl on her phone behind the counter. Sat in the food court and watched the shop, onlytonly see potential customers leave because of a lack of service and no food on display. However, thank you to bhoj for a fantastic meal. Highly recommend any other food outlet...
