This place is really buzzing on weekends! Pro tips: 1. If you arrive by foot: the facade facing the water says only “Restaurant” in big illuminated red letters from the side road facing the roundabout it says “The Pen” 2. Don’t be dismayed if the on line booking system says that there are no tables we experienced that but went in anyway and had no issues getting a table for four Vegan friendly! I had the vegan pizza with veggies and pineapple with non dairy cheese, which tasted great with a big glass of red wine Remember to ask for dry chilli flakes if you are into a more spicy pizza The service team there is outstanding, the food came out quickly and they are using Jack Bauer earbud communications to coordinate everything. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of nearby parking, nice views of the water, tasty food, good service: what more do you want??

Great views from inside restaurant and out on deck area. Food a bit pricey but tasty. Good to see they kept the Morton Bay fig tree when area was redeveloped. Reminisced sitting under the tree from the old pub days after crabbing.

We called in quite late and they told us if we hurry we can still make the kitchen. When we got there we were warmly welcomed and told not to rush and we are welcome to stay as long as we want and not feel rushed. We ordered the Pork belly and crispy skin chicken. The chicken was nicely cooked but a little small but the Pork belly was very decent in size and one of the best tasting pork bellies i have ever had. We were so happy with the service we left a tip when we paid, hopefully the gentleman that first served us and took the call got the tip

We had a wonderful night here for our anniversary dinner. Hubby said Pork belly was amazing! Big part. Squid Tinte Pasta was also delicious! Finish with triple choc brownie was so good. Beautiful view and clean, relaxing ambience. The staff is friendly and attentive. We'll be back.
