N.H. 52 Dhaba - Mangaldai

The place is a good option for trying local food,while in Assam.Restaurant has an AC and non AC area for sitting.Tried local Assami Thali with some fried local fish.The content of Thali was really good and tasty.The fish was fresh and was done well.This is a good halting point for food/snacks while travelling to upper Assam area(Tezpur, Lakhipur) from Guwahati. Stopped here for a lunch on 24th Nov 2016,with some colleagues.

They serve in brass utensils which is very good . One reviewer here has stated the brass utensils which is famous in assamese community as 'old raw utensils ' I didn't like that, I accidentally clicked helpful twice in her review which is not all helpful. Am a frequent customer in this dhaba . And I really like having my lunch there. Overall very good .thank you.

We stopped here on the way to guwahati from bhalukpong. we had ordered fish assamese thali. the food was light, tasty and fresh. we eat pretty good, but fresh of the ingredients made it easy. the restaurant has a good staff. has a good home feeling, staff and owners were very helpful.

The dining experience is superb. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The prices are affordable and the food is delicious and worth every penny.
