The Duke's Roadhouse - Mangaweka

I tried the vegan one and it was just one of the best burgers I have ever had.

I feel guilty that I have driven past this place hundreds of times and never stopped in for a bite. Thanks to the new charging station next door I had the best bacon and eggs I have ever had. The lovely homemade relish was the icing on the cake.

A true foodie paradise! This place is absolutely fantastic. The home-baked dishes are simply delicious! Be sure to try the heavenly toasted cheese scone slathered in butter or the lamb and kumara pie. The ambiance is enchanting, adorned with lovely details like fresh flowers and a shelf filled with homemade preserves. There's also a wonderful kids' corner. Huge thanks to Laura and her team!

This restaurant is a popular choice for brunch, lunch, or a quick snack. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the cheese scones looked delicious as well! There’s also a great selection of food available in their cabinet. They have some sheltered outdoor seating at the back and the bathrooms are clean. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed a wonderful beef lasagna and coffee while charging the car. Beats the one I had last night at a rather fancy Auckland restaurant hands down. Highly recommend Duke's
