Hennessey's Tavern - Manhattan Beach

Best food, great employees, drinks are solid! They should open one in Santa Cruz! if I could afford to eat here every day, I would!

Decent Burgers and Beer. Hennessey's Tavern has ten locations sprinkles along the Southern California Coast. I've frequented the Manhattan and Hermosa Beach restaurants. The burgers and fries are solid, and they have a large enough beer selection. They often have live music, which can be noisy. This is a typical tavern with decent food.

Divey bar with 2-4-1 burger specials on Tuesdays and karaoke on Wednesdays. Came here on a Tuesday around 8pm and enjoyed the aforementioned two-for-one burger deal. We both got the moo-oink-cluck burger which was quite large and filling. They come with a side of fries. We got some tequila shots too (because why not) but I would not get the well drink here. Indoor and outdoor dining available. Bathrooms located in the back right. Credit cards accepted. Overall, it’s a very chill spot.

Great little sort of dive bar beach in the area. They usually have live music after 9 or 10 on the weekends. The drinks are strong, the service is usually decent, and the food is okay. My only complaint is that the drink prices are insanely high for the type of establishment it is. Expect to spend sporting event prices on beers and drinks. The exception would be some of their specialty drinks and their very good happy hour.

Happy Hour review on a Friday night. From 4 to 6 Monday thru Friday and is a great value. $5 drinks from a big menu of margaritas, big beers, Moscow mules and more. Drinks were the highlight. $6 appetizer specials. We had shrimp tacos (came 2 with almost no shrimp), seared Ahi was good and Korean fried cauliflower. Was pretty standard bar food, nothing special but again a great value. Service was okay and friendly.
