The Izaka-ya By Katsu-ya Manhattan Beach

I've only been here once but I can already say I'd definitely be back. Just for the tagliatelle alone, I'd definitely go back! It was so good! I was worried it might be overpowering like most squid ink pastas I've tried before, but this one is definitely well balanced. From the saltiness of the bacon and the acidity of the tomatoes. It all just blends perfectly. Can't wait to try their other offerings and hope it's as good as this pasta dish!

The owner and staff were all so wonderful. The space is so inviting and you can tell the details have been thought through. Finally, I was more than impressed with the food! From the coffee to the little details in the fruit…ingredients were very fresh! Absolutely recommend 10/10!

Eye for detail in this deli-restaurant. High quality coffee and dishes in relaxt bistrot setting. We had lunch and enjoyed the ambiance with fine curated art pieces and welcoming owner and staff. Worth visiting!

When I have a day off and just want to walk down to a cozy joint by the beach then this is the BEST MB has to offer! It doesn't get loud or rowdy like the bars, so it's classy. Food is delicious with a healthy variety of vegan choices. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, especially the owner who never hesitates to spend a minute to chat. I seriously love it here and I always think about coming back whenever I'm free.
