Tanner's Grill - Manhattan

I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this restaurant. I had visited another location years ago and had high hopes, but unfortunately, I was let down. While the staff were friendly and knew their menu well, the restaurant itself was not very clean. The burgers were bland and extremely greasy, to the point where we had to lean over the basket to eat them. If you're going to serve a half-pound burger, at least take the time to season it properly! I would not recommend dining at this establishment unless you're looking to soak up alcohol after a night out. LOL.

I usually don't give out 5 Stars, but the Blue Cheese Burger at this restaurant was one of the top three specialty burgers I have ever had. The burger to bun ratio was perfect and the blue cheese topping was delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection, making it a great meal overall. I tried to make a healthier choice with the sides and was pleasantly surprised by the fresh vegetables. My wife enjoyed their version of sliders and our son loved the chicken fingers. The atmosphere on a Saturday was just right - not too crowded and the place was well decorated. Our waitress was amazing, always refilling our sodas promptly with a great attitude. I wish there was a Tanner's closer to home as it would put local name brand restaurants out of business. My only regret is that there isn't one nearby.

So more of a eatery than bar . Food has been great, order to table time is quick. Everything I 've had has been delicious. If you want a good burger try the kc BBQ burger. Fries are seasoned not salted. Great atmosphere. No pool tables, no darts.

Pretty good food atmosphere. We ordered the Mac Cheese bites, blue cheese burger, habanero burger. Very delicious fast service despite a full house. Only downside was the sticky table musty smell. Smell was 100% from the towel/water they used to wipe the table down before we sat. Didn?t ruin the experience but they def need to change their cleaning rags ha!

I almost gave this restaurant 5 stars, but the cheese on my hamburger still had paper stuck to it, most likely from between slices. I don't like to complain, and everything else was good so I didn't see a reason to. My granddaughter is going to KState, so I will definitely eat there again.
