The Chef - Manhattan

Great food and an amazing place. Just make sure you get there early. Because it does get crowded.

-Nice location and atmosphere for breakfast or brunch.-Food was pretty good and presented well.Highly recommend the pancakes. They were different from what I've ever had before and had a cinnamon taste to it.-Unfortunately, the waitress seemed uninterested in her job and was very off-putting and rude as well.

The food was okay… not very flavorful in my opinion. The service was average. It was a 30 minute wait… which overall wasn’t worth it.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! It is my go-to for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. I have been many times and am never disappointed!!Note: They don’t take reservations and if you go after 9 a.m., there will be a bit of a wait.

The Chef is always a great place to take the family. I'm always impressed when a place takes time to make their own scratch gravy. Hash browns are always buttery and crispy. The thick cut bacon is just right and when you ask for it crispy, they bring it just right. We haven't found a menu choice that disappoints yet. Parking: Prepare to parallel park. They get busy fast and you may have to walk a block to get in. Well worth it though.
