Aj's Pizzeria - Manistee

Fantastic sandwiches and pizza with generous portions! I've always left satisfied. The dining area and restrooms are consistently clean, which is definitely a plus. A charming little place!

The crust is delicious. Prices are fair. The people who work here are incredibly friendly.

After the pizza I just had from AJs, I can say they are the best pizza in Manistee.

The best pizza in town comes with slices so enormous they could have their own zip code! There are plenty of toppings to choose from. And the exciting news? They’ll soon be offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an even more extensive menu! AJ’s for every meal? Count me in!

I traveled up from Florida for a family reunion and Christmas party on December 16th, where we ended up spending over $100 on pizza. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. One pizza was too doughy, another had a rubbery texture, and yet another was overcooked. My mom visited the restaurant the following day—not to complain, but to share her disappointment about the quality of the pizza. However, she was met with hostility from the OWNER, who effectively accused her of lying. He offered her $28 as reimbursement and told her to leave. It's surprising and disappointing to see an owner treat an 80-year-old woman like that. I’ve noticed other reviews mentioning similar experiences with the pizza here. This experience will definitely deter us and others from returning. AJ's, it's time to step up your game.
