The Painted Lady Saloon - Manistee

Had a party of 6, Ordered the baked salmon. Took an hour for the food to arrive(the restaurant was busy. the salmon was dry, and only one of the two filets were salmon. I 'm not a picky eater so I was going to eat it regardless. When I brought it up to the waiter to give feedback she at first denied one filet was white fish even though I showed it to her. She believed me after a few more words and brought it to the chef. When she came back with the bill she apologized, saving the service score from being a 2. 2 other people at my table also ordered the baked salmon, their salmon was also dry and one of the other two also only had 1 salmon filet. I would not recommend the salmon filet.

Everything was greasy. The temp time ratio was definitely off on all we got. I wanted to live this place, however, the food doesn't live up to the hype

Offering a review on behalf of my mother who was there today. I 'm in Georgia and she wanted me to tell you that their meal today was excellent . She had the pork chops, and she said her sweet potato fries were done perfectly. She 's very picky about those. And my stepfather had the broiled chicken. He normally eats only one piece but she said he ate all four pieces and they both were very happy. Thank you!

An awesome dive bar. And I mean this in the best way possible. Lots of history. Phenomenally large portions and a great staff. Try breakfast. The smoked pork chop will change your life!

Great food, friendly staff. Neat place. More than meets the eye for bar food.
