After waiting for 20 minutes, I inquired about how much longer it would take, and was told it would still be a while. Waiting half an hour or longer for a drink is simply unacceptable. I decided to get my money back and leave.
Our drinks were enjoyable once they finally arrived, but we had to wait 20 minutes for them. What really struck me was the fully stocked counter filled with mobile orders. The staff continued to prepare more and more drinks for mobile orders while those of us waiting in the lobby were left in limbo. I mentioned to my husband how grateful I am that we usually brew our coffee at home. If you're visiting Starbucks, I recommend using mobile ordering, as it seems to take priority over customers who are actually there in person.
You can't go wrong with Starbucks! The kids adore the breakfast sandwiches and cake pops, while mom enjoys her coffee. The app is really handy for earning stars and reloading your balance. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean.
They employees here are really friendly, and they make great suggestions if you don't know what you want or if they are out of what you want. They always make a special drink for our daughter with not too much sugar in it. They are really fast even when there are a lot of people out a long line in the drive thru.
So this location was out of short cups that are plastic. I wanted a paradise drink for my kiddo. she immediately said would you like a tall instead? You will have to pay for the tall price tho. I told her it's for my kid and I want the smallest size. I asked if they had the hot cups in that size and if we could have it in that cup. She said let me check. She said no. Then she said you could could get a size tall and I will give you two cups. I said no thanks and asked if she could charge me for a short but use a tall and fill the drink not as full. She said no. She or her manager was ridiculous. In a normal world, if a restaurant is out of a cup and a customer wants that size you give the customer a size up no up charge. Plenty of times fast food places have done that if they were out of a smaller cup. Thats called customer service! I ended up canceling my order.
