Burger King - Mankato

I visited the drive-thru tonight around 11:30, and there was a blonde girl who seemed to be working all by herself. I didn’t catch her name, but she was incredibly nice. Despite having at least 5 or 6 cars in line, she maintained her composure and remained friendly, even though it was late. I’m giving her 5 stars, not Burger King. BK really needs to improve. She did an outstanding job, and I would have left her a tip if I could, but I know from my time working there that tipping isn’t allowed.

The food was outstanding! I ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, and they were absolutely delicious—definitely a 10 for flavor. My husband tried the fish sandwich and said it tasted fantastic. The French fries were crispy and cooked to perfection.

I ordered a sandwich at the counter and informed the young man that I would be using the restroom while they prepared my food. When I came out, a young girl at the counter told me, "Your order is over there," and mentioned that they were about to throw it away! I was quite upset! I explained to the young man at the counter that I had only been in the restroom for about three minutes. I’m not sure if he forgot what I said, but he informed me that they were preparing fresh chicken and it would take another five minutes. This was a clear case of poor communication! LOL

We enjoyed our meal, but when we left, the lights still hadn't been turned on. We returned about half an hour later, and finally, the lights were on. Also, it seemed that the staff needed to wear hair nets, yet we could hear some profanity coming from the kitchen.

I visited this Burger King for the first time and ordered a Whopper Jr. without pickles. It was a simple request—a sandwich with no pickles—but they still managed to mess up my order. It seems that many fast food places in the Mankato area struggle with order customization. Overall, I was disappointed.
