Happy Chef - Mankato

Place off of highway in Mankato. Has good range of prices. Food was okay, bland. Service was friendly.

BEST EVER! Although I feel like the menu got smaller.

We had the best breakfast on our weekend out of town for Memorial Day. The staff was so friendly, they were attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The food was filling and very yummy. Prices are incredibly reasonable for what you get. It was a very good impromptu stop, and I would happily stop in again! Parking: Huge lot, so there is plenty of space for parking. Kid-friendliness: The staff's interaction with the children in the restaurant was kind and smiley, asking questions about their toys or about their weekend. Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of tables but in a large space. Could easily accommodate a wheelchair.

Chef will not cook hashbrowns or fries long enough, even when requested well done.

It was a good affordable place! The food was very enjoyable and affordable. It’s a very good place if you’re on a road trip with your family. I loved it. Vegetarian options: It had really good vegetarian breakfast!
