The 507 - Mankato

Service was good. Was greeted by someone advising that outdoor eating was full, but there was plenty of space inside. Cheese curds were fantastic. The main dish though I didn't care for. It was too cheesy for me personally. The dish I had wanted to order was out of stock. I tried a couple of the other items my family had ordered and didn't particularly care for those either. All in all, nothing really bad about the place or the food, just nothing really for me that I liked.

When we arrived it wasn't busy, the waitress was so friendly and doing her best! Waited over an hour for food and when it did come out, it was cold and subpar. Waffles fries were decent, just cold. Drinks were good, barley tasted the alcohol so there was not a ton. Each of us had like 3/4 drinks each and was walked out sober. The open mic night was...interesting. The speakers were far too loud for the small space. Probably won't come back to be honest.

We waited over 25 minutes to even be welcomed. We waited just over an hour to get our food. Food was meh at best. Definitely not the place to beFood: 3/5

Margins must be tight. We were charged extra for everything from napkins to a small 1 tbsp container of ranch dressing to go with the dry, flat, and tasteless chicken strips from the senior menu. Hard to believe we had to wait almost an hour for such unremarkable food. Serving staff were not friendly but I get the feeling this is the type of restaurant that doesn't care about customers satisfaction but only profits. So with that thought, we will not be supporting their profit margins ever again.

They have great daily deals. Pet friendly patio. The food is always 10/10. The staff are always happy and bringing good energy to the bar.
