Weggy's On Campus - Mankato

Ok it was after any lunch rush. Environment was good waitress couldn't answer question bout food but helped best she could.slow cooking and either she forgot to say crispy on fries after asking me or they just don't know meaning and was onions when was asked no onions. But food was still tasty. Will go back again some time and spend longer when I had rush off to doctor appointment as 45 mins there wasn't long enough to sit an enjoy.

Every order to go is messed up... fries are not cooked, french toast didnt have syrup, and the lettuce was literally brown... and they dont take accountability when they do mess it up.

Got a Reuben sandwhich, and it was alright, no sauce on it, just meat and cheese. ? Our waitress never came back till she brought the bill.

Not impressed. Our family went in for dinner at 6:30 pm on a Friday night. It was not even busy, half the tables open. When we walked in the two tables next to the door were covered in dirty plates and not bussed; we had to wait 5 minutes, flag down a waitress, who asked “can I help you” and we had to ask her to clear the table. 1st clue! Mind you it is a Friday night and a restaurant/bar near a campus – they only had two waitresses taking orders, bussing tables and running the bar. Severely understaffed. I understand being understaffed, so me and my family expected slower service, even if the place was half empty. Now to the food we get our orders and almost all the food is cold. The burgers taste bland and soggy; the fries are literally cold and soggy, you know they have been sitting in a bin for hours; the breakfast order the hashbrowns were soggy, not crisp, the eggs literally cold, the sausage links and patties and bacon barely warm. We were not the only ones complaining. There were two gals sitting at the bar with a drink. They were there and had ordered their food before we entered. After we had been there 30 minutes, they finally told the bartender/waitress to just make their order to go because they had places to be. They were not happy. This is the 2nd time I’ve been here. Both times the staff ignored our table, acted like we were bothering them when we asked questions or for refills, and the food is not that good. Seriously, I see many positive reviews, and I wanted to support a local business, but after 2 tries, poor quality, and being made to feel like my business is a burden on the staff, I’m likely to not go back or recommend it to others in Mankato.

Ordered patty melt, it appeared medium rare but deeper you bit the rawer it was. Ordered a chicken bacon ranch melt, it was room temp at best. Side salad was ok. Malt was good. Server never checked on us after food came. I gave them another chance after years of not coming here and it is just as bad as before. The shareable pretzel was ok. Not a good experience again.Been feeling sick shortly after posting this. :
