City Doner - Mannheim

After a long working day I dived into the city of döner. the tin plate was a good meal, big, but with last feeding meat and salate. there are also seats on the back.

I'm here twice now and it was great every time. I came with my friend after I picked him up from the train station when he came to me after his flight, and I thought this place was for something fast. dinner in the evening and it was very comfortable as it is right next to the train station. we got the first time the donation plate and didn't know that the portions were so big, so we take most of them home to eat later. 2 times we got the donation plate again, but it split and again, that was almost too much for both of us. I love sitting out there, as it was nice to just sit on the cool evening air. the waiting system was somewhat unclear and it is also a bit hectic. the interior of the restaurant is very warm because the donator meat is constantly located next to the heat and I think there are 3 or 4 of it. I'd rather sit outside than inside if it's not a very cold day.

Huge portions, cheap prices! fresh and tasty. restaurant might look better, but it is what is to go great eating!

There is nothing else to say than this: If you ever, for whatever reason, feel you are really hungry at 4AM on a Saturday or Sunday morning, this is the place to go and eat your Döner! Especially the Yufka is just awesome here, much...preferred to the larger place just across the street ;

I really want to give this place a 5 star or, at minimum a 4.75 star because it has been THE place in Mannheim for the best Yufka Doener and Doener Teller for the past nine years I've lived here, but I've also recently experienced...More
