The Burnt Stump - Mansfield

My partner and I met up with another couple for lunch at this restaurant. We all enjoyed our meals, which were well prepared and nicely presented. The gammon steaks and Hunter's Chicken from the main menu were particularly popular choices. The atmosphere was comfortable and the prices were reasonable. Thank you for a great dining experience.

We decided to try the fish and chips that caught our eye during our last visit to the restaurant, and we were thrilled that we did because it was fantastic. The fish was cooked perfectly with a crispy batter. Great job, Gemma! And Bonnie enjoyed her sausages from the doggie menu.

We absolutely love this place and visit regularly. However, when we went for lunch a few days ago, it seemed like it was the chef's day off. Despite the quiet atmosphere, the food did not meet their usual standard.

Went for a birthday meal with other half loved it dogs welcome made my day the general manager and team have pulled this place back to the high level only down side its in need of a revamp

What a disappointment! Disgusting tables sticky with grime at 11 a.m. when they opened. Staff looking miserable, no customer service and the food was dry having been under a hot plate for to long! We used to love the Burntstump but would think twice before visiting again!
